Effective investigative interviews sit at the heart of fair, defensible workplace investigations. Yet many investigators are expected to conduct interviews with limited training, little opportunity to practise, and no space to refine their approach.
This one-day, in-person course is designed for anyone who conducts interviews or formal meetings as part of a workplace investigation. It focuses on building confidence, structure, and judgement through a realistic case study, combining instructor-led learning with practical application through role-plays and facilitated exercises.
The course is fully practical, grounded in real investigative experience, and focused on skills participants can apply immediately in their work.
“Detailed and practical - a rare concoction from my experience of corporate training. It provided equal levels of real life examples, with theoretical exercises that could genuinely support my work in the future. Would highly recommend to anyone working in corporate investigations.”

Manage difficult situations professionally
Ask better questions and listen more effectively
Gather clearer, more reliable evidence
Conduct interviews that stand up to scrutiny
Participants leave with practical tools, improved technique, and greater confidence in their interviewing role.
